How do I connect my Nest thermostat to Vivint?

Connecting your Nest thermostat to your Vivint system is a simple, multi-step process. First, you must create a Nest account by installing the Nest App for Android or iPhone. Set up your account through the app. Then:

Go to Vivint.com/Nest and log in with your Nest account login.
Click Continue.
Click Allow.
Record the 8-character PIN for the device.
Go to the home screen of your control panel and tap the Menu icon.
Tap Devices (you may be required to enter your 4-digit Vivint PIN, separate from the 8-character PIN you just recorded).
Tap Add New Device.
Tap Nest.
Tap Continue.
Input the 8-character Nest PIN.
Tap Connect.

What’s the difference in Nest thermostats?

The Nest^® Learning Thermostat™ and the Nest Thermostat E have many of the same features. The Nest Thermostat E is smaller, costs less, and is compatible with only 85% of HVAC systems compared to the Learning Thermostat’s 95% compatibility.
